Missouri Landscape Architecture Organizations

American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA)

  • ASLA St. Louis Chapter – Generally the eastern part of Missouri (east of the 93 longitude), which is a little over half the state to and including Jefferson City, Columbia, and Springfield.

  • ASLA Prairie Gateway Chapter – The remaining western part of Missouri, plus the entire state of Kansas.

Missouri Association of Landscape Architects (MALA)

This organization was formed in 1962 to be the voice for landscape architects in Missouri to promote legislation particularly related to landscape architecture licensure. This is a private organization and has no government affiliation.
